SR SALES PLANNER

PURPOSE

Join the team shaping the future of wholesale planning at adidas. As a Sr Sales Planner, you will analyze merchandise performance, forecast results, and partner closely with internal teams and key wholesale accounts to drive sales and margin growth. You will lead planning activities that support financial goals, inform product decisions, and strengthen collaboration across the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

LEAD ACCOUNT PLANNING AND FORECASTING
Create financial plans across categories that align account KPIs with brand targets, partnering with sales, marketing, merchandising, and finance.

SUPPORT GO TO MARKET MILESTONES
Drive planning-led initiatives and help prepare pre-season strategies that support long-term business growth.

ANALYZE PERFORMANCE AND IDENTIFY OPPORTUNITIES
Provide clear insights on sales, margin, inventory, and turn performance, offering recommendations to improve in-season results.

DELIVER REPORTING AND BUSINESS REVIEWS
Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to provide visibility to leadership and cross-functional partners.

BUILD STRONG ACCOUNT PARTNERSHIPS
Collaborate with buyers and planners to support shared objectives and ensure aligned planning across the broader account landscape.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES



  • Strong understanding of retail math and the ability to interpret sell-through data
  • Ability to build and flow product assortments that balance objectives and account needs
  • Strategic thinking with experience synthesizing complex data
  • Skilled in presenting information to cross-functional leaders and account partners
  • Advanced Excel skills with strong attention to detail


REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS



  • Four-year degree in Business, Merchandising, or related field
  • Minimum four years of experience in merchandise planning, buying, or a related discipline
  • Industry experience preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills required

For work requiring a high degree of collaboration or an in-person presentation, in-office attendance is required even on Friday. The working location of this position is Portland, OR.
