YOU As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for receiving, processing, and responding to orders and inquiries from customers of all types, including contractors, builders, and wholesale distributors, while working with production, shipping, and other branch departments to coordinate and meet customer needs timely and effectively. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING(% of Time) Answer incoming phone calls and provide customers with requested information (pricing, ship dates, freight estimates, etc.) ensuring accuracy and professionalism. Investigate and answer customer inquiries related to the catalog, products, and product use. Provide limited technical assistance to inquiries. (50%) Input customer orders into order entry computer system. Convert quotes to orders, track shipments, price special orders and initiate Quality Notifications (QN) in the system. Work with other branches to fulfill orders. Act as a liaison between customers and the production and shipping departments to ensure parts are produced and shipped in a timely manner. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, see, talk, and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally push or lift up to 50 lbs. WORK ENVIRONMENT This job operates in both a professional office environment, customer sites and outdoor construction job sites. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers/scanners, etc. The employee occasionally works around moving mechanical parts. Noise level may be loud at times. TRAVEL This position does not require travel. WORK STATUS & LOCATION This full-time, non-exempt position is located in Stockton, CA. RELOCATION Relocation is not available for this position.
