Essential Duties and Responsibilities The position is responsible for supervising day-to-day shift operations of the Sanitation Department. Duties include supervision of sanitation personnel, ensure proper sanitation of all equipment, plant, and grounds, and ensuring all required paperwork gets properly completed on time. Shift scheduling, timekeeping and allocation of resources are essential daily activities. Leads their respective teams in the Environmental Monitoring program, working with Quality Assurance, Production, and Maintenance to ensure a healthy plant environment. Supervisors must maintain a positive work environment and ensure compliance with employee safety and food safety standards. Employee Safety
Monitors employee safety practices. When deficiencies are observed, coaches individuals and reports them to the Supervisor or manager and completes work orders if equipment needs to be repaired.
