Job Summary

Overall responsibility for directing budgeting, forecasting, compliance, pricing, and cost report activities. Reports directly to the VP Revenue Mgmt & Reimbursement. Interacts with Senior Managers, Administrators, Physicians, Health Services Cost Review Commission (HSCRC), Maryland Hospital Association (MHA), and Auditors.

Qualifications:




  • BS/BA required in business accounting, health care management or finance is required. Post graduate degree strongly preferred.
  • 7-10+ years of progressively responsible related experience in healthcare reimbursement regulations, cost accounting and operations including 3-5 years of management experience.
  • Requires extensive knowledge of HSCRC and Medicare regulations, health care planning, budgeting, pricing and hospital organization.
  • Requires a professional level of knowledge in finance or accounting including regulatory compliance issues and a comprehensive understanding of all budget and price change planning procedures as well as a high level of proficiency in financial accounting as would normally be acquired from progressively responsible related experience.
  • Requires high degree of knowledge of regulatory and cost accounting principles, revenue budgeting, and annual operating plan development as would be obtained from progressively responsible experience.
  • Requires experience in developing and presenting financial information to executive level audiences, and coordination of staff in providing support services to clients in decentralized or consulting environments.


Salary Range: Minimum $152,000 per year - Maximum $205,000 per year. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
