Monday - Friday 2:30pm - 11:00pm
Location : Southern Pines, North Carolina
Pay Starts at $22.03/hr. and can go up based upon experience!

Job Overview:
Are you a skilled machinist with a passion for precision and innovation? At Ingersoll Rand, we are seeking a talented and dedicated CNC Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. This is more than just a job; it's an opportunity to be part of a company that values creativity, excellence, and collaboration.

Responsibilities:
* Follow Standard Work for machine setup, running parts, and preventative maintenance.
* Inspect, deburr, and perform manual operations or operate additional equipment.
* Update and maintain visual controls.
* Support countermeasures and engage in SMED, Kaizen events, and '5 Whys' problem-solving.
* Operate and maintain a clean, safe environment.
* Identify and report equipment abnormalities.
* Adhere to company safety procedures and standards.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications
* HS Diploma or GED preferred
* 1+ years of experience as a machine operator/Machinist

Core Competencies:
* Blueprint Reading
* Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines.??
* Ability to convert between metric and US standard units of measure.?
* Ability to deal with problems involving several variables
* Ability to use standard problem-solving methods (ie. 5 Whys) as trained
* Ability to effectively use tools such as the following: depth gages, bore gages, height gages, feeler gages, micrometers, calipers, deburring tools, die grinders, drill presses, overhead lifting equipment, etc.
* Ability to effectively share information about job duties in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisor, customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Preferences:
* Experience with CNC Machines (Okuma, Moriseiki, Mazak, Haas, Makino, or Fanuc), Mills, and Lathes
* Proven ability to set up and operate CNC machining work centers, specializing in tool changes and in-process offset adjustments.
* Ability to effectively use tools such as the following: depth gages, bore gages, height gages, feeler gages, micrometers, calipers, deburring tools, die grinders, drill presses, overhead lifting equipment, etc

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:
This position will be based onsite / in-person
