Summary:

Applied Training Solutions (ATS) is seeking an Associate Database Analyst/Programmer to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates who possess a Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field or an Associate's Degree from a 2-year technical school with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Ideal candidates should have less than 5 years of professional experience, showcasing a blend of academic knowledge and practical expertise. The role demands a proactive individual eager to contribute to the management and enhancement of sophisticated database systems. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work within a cutting-edge environment, maintaining and administering systems critical to our mission, ensuring they operate at peak efficiency and security.

As part of our team, the Associate Database Analyst/Programmer will play a crucial role in the administration, management, and maintenance of the Integrated Center of Excellence (ICoE) training systems. This includes a range of responsibilities from systems and database administration to the upkeep of Program of Record (POR) battle simulations systems, Virtual and Constructive battle simulation networks, and other vital hardware and software components. You will be directly involved with several advanced systems such as Warfighter Simulation (WARSIM), WARSIM Intelligence Model (WIM), Intelligence and Electronic Warfare Tactical Proficiency Trainer (IEWTPT), Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE), and other federated systems under the Army's Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) and Program Executive Officer Command, Control, Communications-Tactical (PEO-C3T). This role requires a dedicated professional who is ready to take on the challenges and rewards of supporting and enhancing technologies critical to our nation's defense capabilities.

Job Duties:

Under direct supervision, assists in the implementation and maintenance of databases.

  • Substitute for Minimum Education/Years - AA or 2 yr Tech School w/ 2+ years

Working Environment:

The usual daily work conditions will be in an office environment located at Fort Huachuca, AZ. The job requires occasional lifting of computer and other equipment, generally not in excess of 50 lbs.
