Job Title: Assurance Partner - Manufacturing Sector

Location: Charlotte
Reports to: Managing Partner
Type: Full-time, hybrid


Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Assurance Partner to lead and manage assurance engagements within the manufacturing industry. This role is responsible for driving high-quality audit and assurance services, building and maintaining client relationships, and providing strategic insights to help manufacturing clients manage risk, enhance financial performance, and improve reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead Assurance Engagements: Manage the full lifecycle of assurance and audit engagements for manufacturing clients, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards (GAAP, IFRS, etc.).
  2. Client Relationship Management: Serve as a key point of contact for clients, offering insights and advice on financial reporting, operational improvements, and risk mitigation strategies specific to the manufacturing industry.
  3. Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure the highest standards of audit quality and compliance, staying up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry best practices
  4. Team Leadership: Mentor and lead audit teams, fostering professional growth and maintaining a collaborative work environment that promotes excellence.
  5. Business Development: Proactively engage in business development efforts by identifying opportunities for new client relationships within the manufacturing sector and growing existing client engagements.
  6. Budget & Resource Management: Oversee the financial performance of assurance engagements, including budgeting, billing, and profitability analysis, while ensuring the efficient use of resources.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required.
  • Experience:
    • 10+ years of audit or assurance experience in the manufacturing sector
    • Public accounting experience, preferred
  • Skills: Deep knowledge of manufacturing industry regulations, excellent communication skills, and a track record of successful client relationship management.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
