What You Can Expect

As our Senior Project Manager, in Columbus, OH, you will be responsible for managing utility infrastructure capital projects associated with expanding and maintaining the utility system on the Ohio State University campus for projects ranging in size from $100,000 to $20M. Every day, you will work in collaboration with our Capex team, university stakeholders, and technical stakeholders, and will handle the ideation, development, approval, and execution phase for multiple projects. You will report to the Director of Capital Projects.

What You'll Bring



  • You will possess a Bachelor of Science in engineering (or a relevant degree) or previous experience in industrial/construction projects in lieu of engineering degree
  • You have a minimum five (5) years' of project management experience managing the scope development, estimates, stakeholder management, contracting, cost development, cost tracking, project execution, commissioning, and closeout of projects
  • Responsible for assignments within the Capital Projects Program that will include scope development, estimates, stakeholder management, contracting, cost development, cost tracking, project execution, commissioning, and closeout
  • You possess or have the desire to obtain a PMP Certification
  • You have communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, colleagues, and contractors, including engineers, architects, and construction firms to develop and execute projects
  • You have financial and contractual aspects of capital projects in addition to technical and organizational structures
  • You utilize new budgets and cost tracking devices to provide input to long-term financial planning, issue contracts, change contract orders, and process invoices
  • You have monitored project progress in design and construction phases through regular contractor and stakeholder interaction both virtually and in-person on work sites
  • You can liaise with ENGIE entities and colleagues for knowledge sharing
  • You will carry out other duties as assigned



Additional Details



  • This role requires attendance at a worksiteon a daily basis
  • Must be available to travel domestically / internationally up to 10% of the time
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license/will drive company car on campus
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies



Compensation

Salary Range: $96,100 - $147,660 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
