Position Summary Duties and Responsibilities:
Greets and Directs visitors, as and when appropriate resolves administrative problems and answers inquiries regarding the department. Accepts and screens telephone calls, schedules appointments and maintains message logs.

Establishes, maintains, processes and updates files and records.

Sorts, screens and distributes incoming and outgoing mail. Maintains appropriate package tracking logs.

Assists in setting up materials and equipment.

Conditions of Employment:
Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's license is a requirement for this job.
Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects up to 40 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to assist in gathering data, compiling information and creating/managing Excel spreadsheets.

Proficient in Word and PowerPoint to create/edit professionally written materials including social media postings (Facebook) and flyers.

Answer phones, connect students with campus resources, and schedule advising appointments.

File/Record Management skills, will work with confidential materials.

Ability to aid in the preparation and execution of workshops and student events.
