Job Description

Performs general diagnostic radiographs.Operates imaging equipment and develops film.Prepares patient's room, equipment, supplies, and medications.Provides patient services using imaging modalities. Works under moderate direction from the supervisor or manager. Must always work with a Registered Radiologic Technologist.

  • High school diploma or the equivalent

  • Senior student status in an AMA Radiologic Technologic Program or advanced status in an accredited ultrasound training program evidenced by official transcript

  • Requires good interpersonal and verbal communication skills to assist patients in the imaging process and explain procedures

  • Must have knowledge of the human development process and ability to work effectively with patients of all ages

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to assist and move patients
