This role is part of Enterprise Engineering (EE), where we provide technical standards, tools, processes, training, and subject matter expertise for product engineering and manufacturing. EE allows all Blue Origin business units to benefit from commonly used capabilities, hardware, and software and assists business units in identifying, selecting, and training engineers from both inside and outside the organization.

As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of CATIA systems and related software. This role requires a highly organized individual with strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving capabilities, and an in-depth understanding of CATIA applications and their integration within an enterprise environment.

In this hands-on position, you will work to increase the speed and efficiency of the program by supporting the timely delivery, quality, and transparency of data to support program activity and business systems. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedication and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Install, configure, and maintain CATIA software and related applications.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for CATIA users.
  • Manage software updates, patches, and license renewals.
  • Ensure optimal performance of CATIA systems through regular maintenance and performance tuning.
  • Develop and implement procedures for data management and backup related to CATIA projects.
  • Collaborate with the IT and Engineering teams to integrate CATIA with other enterprise systems.
  • Train and support staff on CATIA functionalities and best practices.
  • Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Monitor and manage CATIA network licenses and usage.
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of CAD standards and protocols.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CATIA System Administrator or similar role.
  • Proficiency in CATIA software and related applications.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems and network environments.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies and remote desktop services.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CATIA Certified Professional) are a plus.
  • Experience with other CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or NX.
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation tools.
  • Familiarity in engineering and manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with CATScript, VBScript, CATVBA, shell/powershell.

Compensation Range for:

CA applicants is $104,490.00-$146,286.00;WA applicants is $104,490.00-$146,286.00
