Commercial Zero Trust Cybersecurity Solutions Architect and Business Lead, Senior Manager

The Opportunity:

Join a growing team of Zero Trust cybersecurity practitioners by serving in a solutions architect and cyber executive role supporting capture, delivery, and expansion of client engagements across different private-sector market verticals. You'll provide senior thought leadership to Fortune 500 and Global 2000 organizations seeking to embed Zero Trust principals into their system architectures, harden their networks, and minimize their attack surfaces. You'll lead large project workstreams, support an existing team of subject matter experts, and develop high-quality deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

You'll coordinate with a dynamic team of thought leaders and experts to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your customer's IT security needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. We need to come up with the best solution, so you'll investigate new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. You'll lead the team through a critical approach to security architecture design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions to maintain a balance of security and business needs. Your technical expertise will be vital as you help customers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating Cybersecurity technologies and solutions, including IoT, OT, and Cloud security, Automation and Orchestration (A&O), identity and access management, conditional based access, attribute-based access control, and micro-segmentation. You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience with IT operations, as an Enterprise Architect or with cybersecurity in Fortune 500 corporations
  • 10+ years of experience leading technical project delivery for large, complex organizations
  • Experience architecting Zero Trust solutions, road maps, and capabilities in alignment with industry standards, including NIST 800-207, CISA Maturity Model, or DoD Zero Trust Strategy
  • Experience leading product selection initiatives, including automation and orchestration, visibility and analytics, secure DevOps, identity and access management, conditional based access, attribute-based access control, or micro-segmentation
  • Ability to work with and guide senior leaders, including CISO, CIO, and CTO, and executives to ideate, build, and execute cybersecurity capability maturation
  • Ability to collaborate with project and proposal teams to incorporate cybersecurity solutions and develop high quality implementation plans and roadmaps
  • Ability to author technical documentation, whitepapers, and blogs on leading cybersecurity topics and concepts
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in a Cybersecurity compliance, operations, or engineering leadership role
  • Experience selecting, designing, and implementing security tools and capabilities for large, complex federal or commercial organizations
  • Experience with innovative cybersecurity capabilities, including A&O, AI and machine learning, NGFW, and Big Data
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, Oracle, or Google Cloud Platform Cloud architectures and designs
  • Experience coaching and mentoring junior staff on functional expertise
  • Possession of excellent project management skills, including in finance, resource management, planning, and delivery execution
  • Possession of excellent client presentation and facilitation skills
  • Information Security Certification, including CEH, CISM, CCSP, CCSK, CISSP, or CompTIA Security+ Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $139,400.00 to $259,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
