Primary Care
Be part of a team focused on preventive care, routine health visits, screenings, and helping patients maintain their overall health and wellness.

Internal Medicine
Support providers caring for adult patients, including those managing chronic conditions and complex healthcare needs.

Family Medicine
Help provide comprehensive care for individuals and families, building lasting relationships and supporting patients throughout their healthcare journeys.

• Welcome patients and help create a positive, comfortable care experience.

• Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with minor procedures.

• Perform phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, and laboratory specimen processing.

• Obtain, document, and communicate accurate patient information.

• Administer medications under the direct supervision of a physician or physician assistant and in accordance with applicable regulations and organizational policies.

• Provide patient instructions and support follow-up care.

• Maintain medical records and prepare patient care areas.

• Coordinate prescription requests, information requests, and other clinical support activities.

• Operate medical equipment safely while following patient safety standards and established procedures.

Education

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred.

Experience

• Medical Assistant experience is preferred but not required for graduates of an accredited medical assisting program within the past two years.

• One year of recent clinical experience within the last four years in a physicians office or hospital outpatient department may be accepted in place of an accredited medical assisting credential.

Certifications

• CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification preferred.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association is required within the first 90 days of hire.

Skills

• Knowledge of medical terminology.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Basic computer proficiency.

• A commitment to patient safety, teamwork, and excellent customer service.
