Warehouse Associate I Location: Woodridge, IL Schedule/Shift: 1st Shift: 5:30 AM-2:00 PM (4 openings); 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM-10:30 PM (8 openings) Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour 26-11411 Job Summary The Warehouse Associate I is responsible for picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and organizing products and materials in a warehouse environment. This role verifies order accuracy, loads and unloads trucks and containers, maintains inventory, and helps ensure a safe, clean, and efficient workplace. The position requires attention to detail, flexibility to perform various warehouse functions, and a willingness to work overtime as needed. Job Responsibilities Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment. Verify product numbers, quantities, and order details to ensure accuracy. Load and unload trucks and shipping containers. Receive, process, and store stock and materials in designated areas. Organize warehouse inventory and rotate or replenish stock as needed. Identify and report missing, lost, or damaged materials. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Operate or learn to operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Must be at least 18 years old. Must be able to understand English to follow safety instructions and communicate effectively, as training materials and trainers may not be available in Spanish. Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed. Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds. Must be able to push and pull materials weighing up to 35 pounds. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform a variety of warehouse functions. Must demonstrate strong attention to detail. Must be willing to learn to operate a powered industrial truck (PIT); previous experience is preferred. Must pass a background check and drug screen. Must reside within 35 miles of Woodridge, IL. Must wear safety shoes when attending orientation. Education High school diploma or GED preferred. Preferred Skills and Experience Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
