Responsible for evaluating Vendors and Brokers that are being onboarded by the Sales Team to mitigate risk. Ensures vendor compliance with quality standards as established by Ameris as well as Federal and State regulatory requirements. Performs other projects and duties as assigned.Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities: * Partner with Operations, Credit and Sales to ensure efficiency for an excellent internal and external customer experience. * Perform due diligence on all new and existing Vendors to ensure the Vendor meets approved guidelines. * Monitor Vendors to ensure compliance with company policies. * Create Vendor and Broker Agreements for signature. * Evaluate vendors and reports on findings; identifies non-compliance and develops plans for resolution. * Assist in identification and evaluation of, and negotiation with, potential vendors or suppliers. Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies: * Ability to communicate and collaborate with team members. * Advanced critical thinking skills. * Strong organizational skills. * Ability to work independently. Industry and Work Experience: * 5+ Years Industry Experience. Academic: * High School Diploma or GED required. * Bachelor's degree preferred.
