As a Security Officer Personnel Screening in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel and visitors, monitoring access points, documenting activity, and reporting security-related concerns. Your visible presence and exceptional communication will help deter incidents while supporting efficient operations. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access screening requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries entering designated logistics and distribution areas in accordance with site policies and applicable procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorization, and maintain accurate logs of visitors, vehicles, and screening activity.
• Respond to incidents, prohibited-item findings, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; promptly notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, loading zones, business operations, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.
• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
