Job Description

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols throughout a residential community, helping to maintain a welcoming environment for residents and guests. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout residential community grounds, building exteriors, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and resident activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Document observations, incidents, and maintenance or security-related concerns accurately and promptly, and report them to appropriate site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
