What you will do



  • Manage a team of architects and scrum teams comprising architects, software engineering, and quality engineering based in the US and India. Also managing one-time investment projects with offshore scrum teams.
  • Operate an R&D organization with modern Event-based architectures running in Azure based on C#, SQL, COSMOS, and other Azure PaaS offerings.
  • Maintain and evolve the organization's architecture strategy, principles, standards, and reference patterns across product and platform teams.
  • Ensure architectural oversight of modernization, Azure adoption, datacenter technologies, integration, data, security, scalability, and resiliency decisions.
  • Maximize teams use of AI tools to accelerate delivery. Measure productivity increase and how it ties to accelerated business objectives.
  • Work within a very large technology organization of 600+ running SAFe.


  • Serve as an engaged executive technology leader who develops engineering and architecture leaders, guides critical technical decisions, and ensures architectural direction supports product, platform, security, and operational objectives.
  • Set direction and maintain executive accountability for core platform capabilities-including CIAM, the enterprise data lakehouse, and shared data services-ensuring their roadmaps, adoption, reliability, security, and investment align with product and business priorities.
  • HR management of development team members, including hiring, performance reviews, coaching, improvement plans, and overall growth of team skills


  • Lead and collaborate with architects, product managers, software development managers, and developers to architect and develop the best technical design and approach, delivering value quickly to customers without sacrificing software quality
  • Work closely with product management, customers, other support organizations, vendors and other team members to understand the team and product needs
  • Have responsibility for identifying and measuring key objectives for the team, including DORA, annual goals and targets based on overall business needs of the organization
  • Identify and champion cross organization continuous improvement efforts starting from business value through to final implementation
  • Inspire and sustain team unity and engagement by developing, mentoring, motivating, and guiding the team to achieve results together through productive relationships and work
  • Ensure that procedures and processes are well documented, trained and adhered to by the development team members
  • Upscale, upskill and modernize the development teams for rapid and high quality delivery of our solutions


What you will bring



  • 10+ years' experience in software development leadership role with strong emphasis on delivery and engineering excellence.
  • Experience in delivering applications to public cloud providers, preferably Azure
  • Experience with building cloud native systems and re-designing and modernizing large monolith solutions
  • Deep understanding of AI capabilities for both engineering and QA velocity increase.
  • Familiarity with AI agentic platforms and AI abilities to enhance our products and solutions to market.
  • Drive software development roadmaps, operational plans, and the management of execution against project plans and delivery commitments within an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Experience delivering and operating products across datacenter and public cloud environments, preferably Azure
  • SCRUM experience, belief in the tenets of agile development and team accountability
  • Demonstrated success guiding enterprise architecture across legacy and modern products and shared platforms, including assessing tradeoffs and resolving cross-product conflicts.
  • Knowledge of development best practices include CI/CD for PRs, Test, Builds, and Deployments
  • Healthcare EHR, Revenue cycle, or revenue management experience for acute or ambulatory services
  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to senior management and other entities on needs and approaches to gain consensus, including an ability to translate complex technical topics to audiences with a range of technical sophistication
  • An understanding of emerging regulatory issues (e.g., industry guidelines such as HIPAA and HI-TECH) to develop internal and external checks and controls to ensure proper governance, security and quality of information assets
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to understand and communicate technical information to an audience of varying skill levels
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills



What we would like to see



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field of engineering
  • 10+ years' experience successfully managing multiple software development teams
  • Experience overseeing enterprise architecture within a large, mixed-technology engineering organization with significant Azure, C#, and SQL investment.
  • Experience overseeing platform organizations responsible for CIAM, enterprise data platforms, or shared data services in a complex, regulated technology environment.


  • Healthcare RCM and/or FinTech experience
