Overview

D451 Instrumentation is looking for an engineer to join our VIRGINIA- and COLUMBIA-Class data acquisition hardware team. Responsibilities include the development of data acquisition systems based on test form and internal system design specification requirements, creating engineering sketches to guide system installation and test execution, and participating in validation and verification efforts for the acquisition systems. You will work directly with a dedicated team of in-house technicians to build and test the products. Responsibilities include coordinating implementation and use of these systems shipboard as the COLUMBIA-Class test program ramps up as well as for the VIRGINIA-Class test program. This position provides the unique opportunity to personally design and build the systems you will come to rely on in the future!

The successful candidate must communicate effectively and work within a high performing, multi-disciplinary team. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a personal desire to learn, grow, and excel within the organization.

The occasional need for off-shift overtime and watchbill support is required with this position.
