The Americas Enterprise Partner Solutions GTM team builds the most profitable and impactful partner ecosystem in the world. We help our partners develop technical solutions, skills, and gotomarket motions to successfully sell and deploy with our joint customers. You'll play a critical role in Microsoft's cloud growth and AI transformation across the Americas.

The Americas Enterprise Partner GoToMarket (GTM) team is looking for aDirector Partner Marketing Managerto help shape the next stage of partner growth with SDC partners across the Americas. In this highly visible role, you'll build and lead GTM strategies with top Software Development Companies/ISV partners, turning market insight, partner priorities, and Microsoft sales motions into measurable business impact. You'll have the opportunity to grow your career at the intersection of marketing, partner strategy, Marketplace, cosell, and cloud/AI transformation. You will develop executive relationships, influence investment decisions, and help partners accelerate Marketplace Billed Sales through datadriven marketing plans, strong lead conversion, and connected execution. You will work with many roles including Partner Development Managers, Field Sales, and crossfunctional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Analyze market dynamics (trends, competitive landscape, customer behavior, whitespace) to inform GTM campaigns and partner selection.
  • Lead execution of strategic GTM plans aligned to Partner Business Plans (PBP), advising partners on funnel strategy, content, messaging, tactics, and operations.
  • Manage marketing investments to drive partner impact in priority areas.
  • Activate multitactic partner marketing campaigns, cosell offers, and win amplification.

Excellence in Partner Engagement

  • Deep understanding of Marketplace and Co-sell best practices to coach and guide the partner on their alignment to Microsoft.
  • Collaborate with partner leaders and CMOs to tailor marketing plans that deliver revenue outcomes.
  • Maximize investments via programs such as Marketplace Rewards.
  • Drive partner readiness and designation attainment.
  • Ability to synthesize complex partner to partner joint execution into real impact.

Drive Impact, Insights & Optimization

  • Apply the Partner Marketing Funnel Framework to portfolio execution and outcomes.
  • Activate marketing plans with partners and stakeholders, track KPIs, and adjust via monthly rhythm of business (RoB).
  • Share insights and best practices; resolve marketing execution issues and engage the Center of Excellence (COE) when needed.
  • Contribute to MBRs, QBRs, and business updates with databacked insights and examples.

Compliance & Trust

  • Operate with a compliancefirst mindset; ensure privacy, brand, funding, SOW, and policy compliance.
  • Respond to audits and complete compliance trainings timely.

Additional accountabilities

  • Synthesize research and partner insights to inform partner strategy and solution area roadmaps; map partner capabilities to Microsoft goals.
  • Execute fullfunnel marketing plans for solution/offer launches; ensure partner/channel readiness with consistent materials and toolkits.
  • Design and measure endtoend partner experiences; accelerate partnertopartner comarketing.
  • Manage allocated marketing funds; track investment utilization and ROI; comply with budgeting and policy requirements.
  • Build trusted, executivelevel partner relationships; advise on GTM best practices and advocate for partner/customer needs internally.
  • Lead account mapping to partner solutions and sales plays; drive demand generation to build partner cosell pipeline.
  • Act as a cross team DRI on an assigned marketing unit of production for connected operational excellence.


Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Development, Business Management, Communications, or related field AND 7+ years sales, marketing, or business development experience OR equivalent experience.

Additional or preferred qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, or related field AND 6+ years sales, marketing, technology-based, or business development experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Development, Business Management, Communications, or related field AND 8+ years sales, marketing, or business development experience OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience with partner relationships, partner sales or partner business development.


Partner Marketing IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.
