Job Summary: Responsible for performing general repairs and maintaining fleet vehicles. Keeping daily logs of equipment maintenance for all vehicles. Job Duties: Experience with gasoline engines. The primary purpose of every mechanic is to perform general repairs and preventative maintenance checks on all fleet vehicles. Must have your own tools to do all needed repairs and a valid driver's license. Responsibilities include being able to diagnose vehicle issues and perform needed repairs in a timely manner. Establish regular maintenance schedule for vehicles (oil, fluids, tires, etc.) Proactively manage fleet health to assure all vehicles are ready to go for each work shift. Keep a log of all repairs and maintenance done each day on vehicles. Able to work weekends Be in constant communication with managers regarding vehicles, repairs, etc. Main professionalism at all times with co-workers, managers, others, etc. Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements. Must have a valid Driver's License Physical requirements: Must be able to constantly lift, move up, push, pull up to 70 lbs; and constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, & bend. Working conditions: Must be able to work in rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime. Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
