Job Summary:
Responsible for performing general repairs and maintaining fleet vehicles. Keeping daily logs of equipment maintenance for all vehicles. Be able to diagnose vehicle issues and perform needed repairs in a timely manner.

Job Duties:
  • Experience with gasoline engines.
  • The primary purpose of every mechanic is to perform general repairs and preventative maintenance checks on all fleet vehicles.
  • Must have your own tools to do all needed repairs and a valid driver's license.
  • Responsibilities include being able to diagnose vehicle issues and perform needed repairs in a timely manner.
  • Establish regular maintenance schedule for vehicles (oil, fluids, tires, etc.)
  • Proactively manage fleet health to assure all vehicles are ready to go for each work shift.
  • Keep a log of all repairs and maintenance done each day on vehicles.
  • Able to work weekends
  • Be in constant communication with managers regarding vehicles, repairs, etc.
  • Main professionalism at all times with co-workers, managers, others, etc.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
Physical requirements:
  • Must be able to constantly lift, move up, push, pull up to 70 lbs; and constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, & bend.
Working conditions:
  • Must be able to work in rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.
  • Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
