Department Summary

The Office of Student Success empowers students to achieve their academic goals through personalized support, innovative programs, and campus collaboration. Through academic coaching, tutoring, Supplemental Instruction, developmental education support, academic integrity education, and targeted student success initiatives, we empower students to develop the skills, confidence, and connections needed to thrive at the University of North Texas.

Position Overview

As a student-centered public research university, the University of North Texas promotes the integrity of the learning process by establishing and enforcing academic standards. This position is responsible for supporting students, faculty, and staff navigating UNTs processes for enforcing those academic standards. The position requires an individual who is passionate about service to students and faculty, interested in student development, and is a motivated self-starter. The successful candidate will support the Academic Integrity Officers by managing the day-to-day operations of the Academic Integrity office through a variety of administrative tasks such as processing cases, training, educational program design, marketing, and budget monitoring.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field and one year of related experience or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Excellent customer service skills. Ability to provide leadership for student employees and volunteers. Experience in networking across departments and programs. Ability to communicate and work with the population. Strong organizational skills and ability to simultaneously execute multiple projects. Excellent verbal and written communication, and computer skills.

The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:

*Masters degree in related field; experience working in an educational setting in student conduct, case management, or academic integrity.
*Understanding of student information systems; knowledge of and experience with academic support applications (e.g. Maxient, PeopleSoft, EAB Navigate).

Required License/Registration/Certifications

Job Duties



  • Manage UNTs use of Maxient system for processing academic integrity cases.
  • Monitor student appeals to ensure students, faculty and staff adhere to university processes in a timely manner.
  • Monitor student records and provide outreach to students to ensure academic Integrityissued sanctions are adhered.
  • Checking Academic Integrity email consistently and responding to messages
  • Schedule meetings with students, faculty/instructors, administrators, and Academic Integrity Officers.
  • Producing monthly, semester, and annual reports of Academic Integrity case statistics; assist in creating Honor Code
  • Refer students, faculty, and administrators to appropriate campus resources as needed.
  • Prepare training promotional materials to meet the unique needs of stakeholders.
  • Gather data and create reports/visuals of the data.
  • Provide supervision for Graduate Student Assistant tasks.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Maintains knowledge of all policies and procedures relating to Academic Integrity, FERPA, and student privacy.
  • Manage and coordinate activities involved in the academic integrity process: Interpret academic integrity policies for students, faculty, and staff; maintain case records; review case records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance to university standards.
  • Focus on students educational development strategies to support a campus wide climate of academic integrity and compliance.
