About the Role

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our Indirect Procurement team. This role is accountable for obtaining and supporting the procurement of goods and services required by the Marketing organizations within the Enterprise globally. Responsibilities include Product/Service Sourcing, Supplier Selection, Pricing/Terms Negotiation, Order Management, Contract Administration, Supplier Performance Management, and input to the Marketing Category Strategy.

This position will be located at one of our facilities in Delaware, or in Phoenix, or Flagstaff, Arizona, with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize current knowledge and understanding of marketing industry trends, market intelligence, and available products and services to maximize stakeholder value in supplier engagements
  • Plan and execute Operating Company or Enterprise initiatives in alignment with stakeholder goals following sourcing strategies developed in collaboration with Category Manager and Global Category Lead
  • Conduct sourcing RFx events to identify and rank suppliers based on selection criteria developed with stakeholders
  • Negotiate agreements and statements of work with new or existing suppliers by leading commercial terms discussions and engaging Legal for support as required
  • Maintain Sourcing Instructions for the Procurement Operations team handling transactional activities consistent with operational best practices
  • Demonstrate ability to partner with stakeholders to impact change employing Industry Standard practices and in support of transformational initiatives
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or combination of education and relevant procurement experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of Procurement-related experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills necessary for successful supplier negotiations and collaborating with internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities to drive to root cause issues and develop corrective actions
  • Ability to analyze data effectively to identify and interpret information to make decisions and recommendations in support of stakeholder needs
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions to deliver impactful results in new and challenging situations
  • Effective Project Management skills
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Desired Qualifications
  • ISM CPSM or similar Procurement certification
  • AMA or similar Marketing certification
  • Procurement experience supporting Marketing function globally or regionally with understanding of marketing products and services including creative agencies, media buying, branding, etc.
