Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Develops Overall Material Handling Strategiesand Flow

  • Developsand Maintains Plan for Every Part (PFEP)

  • Coordinates Outsourced Packaging Engineering Activities

  • Supports System Design and Testing

  • Provides Support to Materials High Performance Work Teams

  • Manages the integration of new engine platform material flow into running business operations

  • Manages Department Capital Budget

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree Required.

  • Materials Analytical or Logistics Related Manufacturing Engineering Experience Required.

  • Understanding of Set-Up and Management of Just In-Time and Just In-Sequence Inventory Practices Required.

  • Strong Demonstrated Knowledge of Six-Sigma, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement Concepts Required.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Superior analytical andproblem solvingskills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office productsspeciallyExcel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.

Desired

  • Six-Sigma Training Certification Preferred.

  • Advanced Degree Preferred
