Receiving Dock Material Handler 1st Shift

We have an opportunity for a Receiving Dock Material Handler to join our Delavan, WI team. You will support the Materials team by handling and delivering materials to our manufacturing lines, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will:

  • Unload and load trucks in an efficient manner using mechanical and manual means. Verify inventory and accuracy of shipping and receiving forms.
  • Deliver raw materials and finished goods using hand or forklift truck to proper departments, cells or other storage areas.
  • Accurately record in a timely manner all assigned receiving, inventory control and general warehousing transactions.
  • Preform transactions, run reports, and other SAP duties in order to complete accurate inventory levels.
  • Preform various cycle counting duties when needed to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • work from verbal instructions, written work instructions and quality plans with minimal supervision.

Key Requirements:

  • Forklift operation-license required.
  • Experience using warehouse equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, high reach lift trucks, hand trucks, and pallet jacks
  • Experience using scales, measuring equipment, and RF scanner gun
  • Experience using computers and MS Office products (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and SAP
  • Employee must be able to work in a team environment
  • Subject to seasonal temperature extremes.
  • Physical requirements: Must be able stand and walk up to 8 hours per day along with bending and lifting. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift over shoulder height.
  • Appropriate PPE must be worn in the production and warehouse area. Steel toed shoes are required on the distribution floor.

Shift/Hours:

  • 1st Shift: 5:30am - 2:00pm Monday - Friday
  • Occasional mandatory overtime required

Compensation:

The hourly pay for this role is: $18.00/hr. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
