Description Job Title: Engineering Technician Location: Malabar, FL Employment Type: Temp to Perm (12 months) Industry: Aerospace and Defense Compensation: $33.00/hr. Schedule: 3/12 hrs/Week. About the Opportunity: Performs inspection of circuit card assemblies using Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment to verify compliance with workmanship standards and manufacturing requirements. Operates, monitors, and supports AOI systems used to detect component placement issues, solder defects, polarity errors, missing parts, and other visible assembly nonconformances. Reviews inspection results, identifies straightforward defects, documents findings, and escalates discrepancies as needed. Works from work instructions, inspection criteria, drawings, and applicable quality standards. APPLY TODAY What You'll Do: Assists with basic troubleshooting of AOI equipment, recipe verification, and production support activities to maintain workflow and product quality. Develop support for individual contributors. Works under general supervision. Work is less structured within identified boundaries and procedures. Communicates with contacts typically within the department on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement.
