Northside Hospital Forsyth's 36-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU) provides specialized care for patients with complex medical conditions requiring continuous monitoring and advanced nursing assessment. Nurses in the PCU care for a diverse patient population, including individuals experiencing acute cardiac events, severe respiratory failure, sepsis, and other high-acuity conditions.
The unit fosters a collaborative and supportive culture where patient-centered care, open communication, and clinical excellence are highly valued. Working in the PCU offers an opportunity to strengthen critical thinking skills, build expertise in managing complex patient needs, and contribute to a team committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care. The Clinical Supervisor is a member of the unit-based leadership team. Provides supervision of the nursing operations of a unit. In the absence of the Manager or Director may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility. Works with a unit specific patient population. REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.
