Description

The Care Professional - Quality Assurance & Staffing Support is responsible for ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality care services by monitoring and supporting home care aides in the field. This role includes performing quality assurance visits, verifying compliance with agency standards, and ensuring aides follow client-specific care plans. The position also requires shift coverage in cases of caregiver callouts or no-shows and supporting agency operations such as referral follow-up, recruitment initiatives, and community outreach.

Job Responsibilities



  • Conduct regular (every 30 days) field visits to ensure aides arrive on time, are dressed appropriately, and adhere to agency standards.
  • Monitor caregivers for proper clock-in/out procedures and documentation compliance.
  • Ensure caregivers follow each client's care plan as directed.
  • Report and document any policy violations or service concerns and follow through on corrective actions.
  • Maintain professional communication with referral sources including Veterans Affairs (VA), Medicaid Case Managers, hospitals, and other healthcare partners.
  • Assist with follow-up on referrals and ensure timely coordination of care.
  • Represent the agency in a professional manner during all communications and interactions.
  • Participate in recruitment efforts by attending job fairs, conducting initial interviews, or presenting the agency at hiring events.
  • Assist with attending or organizing marketing and community engagement events to promote agency services and strengthen community relationships.
  • Be available to cover caregiver shifts in the event of no-shows or callouts to maintain uninterrupted client care.
  • Support onboarding of new caregivers by mentoring or shadowing in the field as needed.


Qualifications | Experience | Education



  • High School Diploma or equivalent; CNA, HHA, or PCA certification preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in home care or healthcare environment.
  • Strong understanding of caregiving standards, compliance, and client service plans.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in the field and respond promptly to operational needs.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
  • Familiarity with electronic visit verification (EVV) system
  • Experience interacting with referral agencies such as the VA or Medicaid programs
