Responsibilities Cardiac Rehab Scheduler The Cardiac Rehab Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and scheduling all cardiac rehabilitation appointments in a timely, accurate, and professional manner. This position operates in a fast-paced healthcare environment and serves as a key point of contact for patients, physicians, nurses, managers, and other hospital staff. Primary responsibilities include scheduling cardiac rehabilitation evaluations and appointments for Oklahoma Heart Hospital's North and South campuses, maintaining accurate scheduling and call logs to ensure appropriate patient follow-up, and handling confidential patient information in accordance with organizational policies and HIPAA requirements. The Cardiac Rehab Scheduler performs both inpatient and outpatient scheduling functions, answers incoming telephone calls, and meets with hospitalized patients to coordinate cardiac rehabilitation evaluations. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate benefit information and scheduling details to patients. The Cardiac Rehab Scheduler will operate standard office equipment and computer systems according to established procedures and will perform all duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Oklahoma Heart Hospital.
