What You'll Be Doing as a Commodity Manager/Materials Program Manager: The Commodity & Materials Program Manager is a cross-functional supply chain role responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that support both existing product portfolios and future product development initiatives. This position combines the commercial responsibilities of a Commodity Manager with the supplier development and new product introduction responsibilities of a Materials Program Manager. The role serves as the primary interface and is heavily partnered with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and the supplier community to ensure supplier capabilities, technologies, capacity, quality, and cost structures support both current business objectives and future product roadmaps. The Commodity & Materials Program Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, qualifying, and managing suppliers that provide components, assemblies, OEM products, finished goods, materials, and manufacturing technologies critical to the company's growth strategy. The role leads supplier engagement from early concept development through production launch while driving supplier performance, cost competitiveness, risk mitigation, and long-term strategic partnerships.
