The Research Consultant II supports system-level institutional research functions for the University of Missouri System and MU, operating under the direction of the UM System Director of Institutional Research. This role contributes to the delivery of recurring compliance and reporting obligations while expanding system capacity for ad hoc analysis, cross-campus coordination, and leadership decision support. Responsibilities include producing reports and analyses using large administrative datasets; supporting systemwide faculty, human resources, and workforce reporting; and contributing to external compliance reporting processes. The role also serves as a key resource for time-sensitive, system-level requests that require consistent interpretation and defensible results across campuses. In addition to core reporting responsibilities, this position helps reduce single point dependencies by building backup coverage for critical processes and supporting coordination of census and reporting activities with campus partners.
