Position Summary: The Vice President, Corporate Partnerships Strategy & Development is a member of the Strategy & Transformation team and reports to the SVP, Strategy & Transformation. Purpose: Design, build, and lead an enterprise-wide corporate partnerships strategy that unlocks the full value of Sesame Workshop's brand, content, mission, and global platform. This role drives integrated, multi-year partnerships that accelerate revenue growth, deepen strategic collaboration across business units, and position Sesame Workshop as a premier media and mission-driven partner for leading global organizations. Represent Sesame Externally
Engagement: * Partner with leaders across Strategy & Transformation, Revenue, Content, Licensing, Media Distribution, Education, International, Philanthropy, Finance, Legal, and other business units to align enterprise partnership priorities and execution. * Build and maintain relationships with C-suite executives, global brands, strategic partners, and external stakeholders to advance Sesame Workshop's partnership strategy and reputation. * Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to drive integrated partnership development, governance, execution, and portfolio growth. * Represent Sesame Workshop externally in presentations, negotiations, conferences, and partnership discussions with prospective and existing partners. * Influence enterprise-wide alignment and decision-making related to partnership strategy, prioritization, and growth opportunities. Minimum Qualifications Required: * Minimum of 15+ years of relevant experience in partnerships, strategy, business development, media, entertainment, consulting, or related fields. * Significant experience operating at the intersection of strategy, partnerships, and revenue generation. * Proven track record structuring large, multi-year corporate partnerships or strategic alliances. * Experience growing and optimizing existing partnership portfolios in addition to securing new deals. * Strong ability to translate brand, content, and mission-driven assets into commercial partnerships. * Experience working within media, entertainment, and/or mission-driven organizations. * Exceptional relationship builder comfortable engaging senior corporate executives. * Experience navigating complex, cross-functional organizations. * Strategic operator who can both design partnership models and execute major deals. Sesame Workshop Hybrid Work Policy This position is based at our headquarters office in New York (Manhattan) at 1900 Broadway, New York, NY, and follows a hybrid work model. In-office requirements vary by role and employee group, and currently range from two to five designated in-office days per week.
