Administrator - Affordable Housing

Pay Range: $71,094 - $91,520

Summary:

This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the community, including operations and financial activities, as well as essential relationships with residents, volunteers, vendors, and support staff. Additionally, this position will manage service contracts, oversee resident improvements and property inspections, and make recommendations that enhance residents' quality of life and property upkeep.

NOTE: Due to the varying sizes and complexities of the communities, this position must also have a dotted-line relationship with the Resident Services Coordinator to ensure continuity of information flow.

Essential Functions:

The duties listed below are essential functions of the position that must be performed to effectively perform the position in at least an acceptable manner as defined by Front Porch. In the future, other duties may be assigned and considered essential functions of the position:

* Manage the property to ensure its optimal performance.

* Monitor property budgets, financial statements, and performance reports, making strategic recommendations to improve economic performance.

* Identify and resolve operational issues, maintenance needs, resident concerns, leasing, client relations, and new client onboarding promptly and effectively.

* Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with residents and owners, acting as the primary point of contact for resident and owner inquiries, issues, and concerns. Address resident complaints and resolve conflicts fairly and professionally, maintaining resident satisfaction and retention.

* Oversee the leasing process, including advertising available units, screening prospective residents, negotiating leases, and managing lease renewals.

* Monitor the community's financial condition, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions by analyzing financial statements, budgets, cash management variances, and performance metrics to help estimate present and future financial needs.

* Maintain current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including but not limited to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), state Housing Finance Agency, state and local government agencies, etc.

* Implement and maintain risk management strategies and emergency preparedness plans.

* Monitor and manage property licenses, permits, and inspections, ensuring timely renewals and adherence to regulatory obligations.

* Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Experience or Equivalent Qualifications:

Essential: 2 years - Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, economic analysis, and reporting

Preferred: 2 years -Experience and literacy with the applications used by Affordable Housing communities, understanding HUD and/orCTCAC. Bachelor's Degree -Business Management
