Responsibilities Employer: TRC Solutions, Inc. Job Title: Lead Engineer Job Requisition:22218.18.6 Job Location: Philadelphia, PA; This role reports to TRC's office in Philadelphia, PA. Applicants may work from a home office anywhere in the U.S. Up to 10% domestic travel required; may work at various unanticipated locations throughout United States. Job Type: Full Time Rate of Pay: $130,541.80 per year Duties: As a technical member of the team, leads a workstream within a project and supports the Technical Lead and Solution Architect with solution design to meet the customer requirements. Develops project deliverables for the client project team during the design phase and participates in the build and test phase of the project (configures and tests) to ensure solution delivery and adherence to technical "best practices." Ensures testing is completed on time and with the highest standards. Owns the quality assurance (QA) process for the workstream to ensure solutions are thoroughly tested prior to system integration and user acceptance testing. Supports proposals and participates in post-bid activities, including clarifications, short list presentation support, and support for scope definition during contract development and negotiations. Mentors junior Engineers and assists the Project Manager with scope management, project planning, milestones, and work and resource estimates. Education & Experience Requirements: Master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related field (or equivalent foreign education) and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in an Engineering Team Lead-related occupation. Or, in the alternative: Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related field (or equivalent foreign education) and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in an Engineering Team Lead-related occupation. Special Skills Required: (1)Demonstrated experience(DE)performing database validation and troubleshooting for SCADA, FEP, ICCP, and network models,utilizingautomation and scripting tools such as Python, PowerShell, and Java to enhance data integrity and system performance. (2)DEexecuting bulk updates to transmission and distribution displays, and conducting regression testing to ensure functionality, accuracy, and stability prior to system updates or releases. (3)DEdeveloping and delivering business intelligence (BI) reporting solutions using Power BI and Tableau to support data-driven decision-making and operational transparency. (4)DEleading database teams, managing vendor relationships, and overseeing database conversion and migration projects, with emphasis on effective project management, comprehensive documentation, and smooth cutover transitions. (5)DEcoordinating with field crews and Control CenterOperations to test andvalidatedatabase and display accuracy, ensuring alignment between control system data and field configurations.
