SEC Energy is a single-source provider of natural gas compression equipment, parts and services to all segments of the oil & gas industry. From 50 to 8,000 horsepower, gas, electric or dual drive, SEC is capable of designing and fabricating equipment to meet each customer's specific operating requirements. SEC also provides production, processing, and treating equipment, and an expansive network of warehouses that service locations across the United States. SEC capabilities expand beyond tradition manufacturing to further include turnkey engineering services, truck-based service technicians, manufacturer parts, and power generation equipment.

The production Analyst create and maintain production schedules to ensure project deadlines are met. The production Analyst also perform various reporting functions to support the business. Basic understanding of SAP is a must.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The essential job duties for this position are listed below:



  • Create project baseline and load budgets in SAP.
  • Generate production schedule.
  • Review project dates/duration based on component lead time and customer due dates.
  • Dispatch network activities based on capacity and material availability.
  • Evaluate dispatched activity progress with shop supervisors.
  • Adjust production schedule due to: Change orders, rework, design change, capacity/material shortages. And generate project baseline as needed.
  • Generate capacity charts for existing and high probability projects. Review and recommend actions for capacity spikes.
  • Create project financial reports and host financial review meetings. Adjust financial report baseline due to change order.
  • Host weekly production meetings as needed.
  • Review MRP for production order items. And recommend in-house fabrication VS outsource based on capacity availability.


Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills& Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:



  • Must have prior experience with SAP.
  • Prior experience with MS Project/Primavera preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree relates to business is preferred.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing.
  • Functional knowledge of scheduling concepts and MRP.
  • Proficient in MS.
  • Ability to effectively present and communicate.


Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.



  • Work within office, assembly and fabrication shop, and field environments
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
