The Mojang Studios Quality Engineering Team is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join us on our mission to Build a Better World. In this role, you will play a keypartin delivering high-quality experiences to millions of players. You will define effective test strategies, drive thoroughfeatureand release test planning, and apply the right combination of data, automation, and manual coverage to assess and improve the quality of your areas. You will work closely with dev team peers to inform quality decisions early, embed modern quality best practices into development workflows, and proactively surface risk. You will also work to explore and apply emerging technologies, including AI, to uncover new ways of helping teams achieve their quality goals. Success in this role requires balancing modern quality best practices with driving innovation to develop new quality solutions as our industry continues to evolve. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
