The Cardiovascular Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CVSICU) is an 18 bed unit that provides care for patients who are recovering from cardiac surgery, cardiac transplantation, lung transplantation, the placement of ventricular assist devices, and other complex procedures. Patients are admitted to the unit directly from the operating room, other units and departments, and from other hospitals. It is a very fast-paced unit driven through teamwork and collaboration within a highly competent multidisciplinary team to provide the best care possible to this specialized patient population. The manager oversees operations, budget and staffing, and is responsible for planning, directing and evaluating nursing care, ensuring assures adherence to Hospital policies and procedures while supporting the organization's mission and vision. This role is also accountable for maintaining high-quality patient care and driving continuous performance improvement through clinical leadership, staff development, education, and collaboration. Salary Range: Minimum 56.34/hour - Maximum 87.32/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
