At Johns Hopkins Hospital, the department is responsible for providing acute care pharmacy services for a diverse population of medical, surgical, oncology, and pediatric patients, with additional services provided within the Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center and affiliated clinics. Within the department, there are 70 acute care and primary care clinical pharmacy specialists as well as 32 general and specialized pharmacy residents. The Clinical Pharmacist II in General Pediatrics provides clinical pharmacy services during overnight hours, supporting pediatric pharmacy operations across inpatient services. This role serves as the overnight clinical and operational lead, supporting complex pharmacotherapy management, medication order review and verification, and real-time problem-solving across pediatric patient care areas.Key responsibilities include overnight clinical operations support, coordination of workflow and staffing, comprehensive medication management, interdisciplinary decision-making, emergency response, and care coordination. The pharmacist will also provide drug information and education to patients, trainees, pharmacists, and other healthcare team members, while contributing to policy and operational initiatives.The work schedule follows a 7-on/7-off overnight model. Minimum Qualifications:
Salary Range: Minimum $55.41/hour - Maximum $91.50/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
