Leidos Engineeringhas an opportunity for anAssociate Project Managerwho will work alongside project managers, lead engineers and account managers supporting various electric utility clients. We are currently seeking qualified applicants to provide Project Management Services related todistributionline engineering projects throughout the Midwestern and Northeastern United States. The Associate Project Manager will be part of an established Project Management Office within our Power Delivery Solutions division that provides consulting services to public-owned and investor-owned electric utilities for comprehensive engineering design of electrical transmission, substation, and distribution projects nationwide.

This position is hybrid in nature, with~85% of your time remote. There will be opportunities for collaborative sessions in person at the nearest Leidos office. Candidates must be willing to travel when requiredin order tobe considered for this position.

**This position requires the successful candidate to work for a contractor in a temp-to-perm format with the possibility of converting to a direct Leidos employee in approximately 6 months from the initial hire date.**

Primary Responsibilities

• Assistproject managers to manage various sizeddistributionline design projects for public-owned and investor-owned electric utilities

• Accept responsibility for overall project performance and reporting

• Ensure project costs, schedule and scope are managed, including the development of recovery plans with a focus on change management, to stay within approved limits

• Communicate with clients, internal project teams, multiple engineering disciplines, functional leaders, subcontractors, and support personnel

• Create andmaintainresource loaded schedules

• Coordinate with Engineering Leads to track and execute client deliverables

• Assistwith the preparation of bid documents, costestimatesand responses to Requests for Proposal

• Complete monthly client invoicing, accruals, and accounts receivable within prescribedtime frames

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business,Financeor related discipline isrequired; orAssociates Degree with 2+ years ofdemonstratedexperience in project management and/or project coordinating.

• Must be capable of planning, organizing, directing, and tracking technical efforts on assigned tasks

• Must be capable of tracking cost and schedule status of assigned tasks

• Ability to take direction from and discuss decisions with the direct supervisor, and to coordinate with project team members

• Experience with MS Office Software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Must be able to interact with customer representatives in an effective manner

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with electric power industry and knowledge of business issues associated with power delivery services

• Ideal Candidates will have a desire to obtain PMP Certification

• Experience with project management software (e.g.,Jira,SharePointMS Project or P6)

• Experience working with/previousexposure to US electric utilities

• Previousexposure to electrical and/or construction projects

• ProficiencyinPower BIand/orfinancial managementtools
