Pay Range: $20.57 - $25.81 per hour

Job Overview:

Emergency Department Technician provides direct care to a defined group of patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Has the ability to perform technical procedures, works various shifts requiring prolonged periods of walking and standing, utilizes communication skills, good interpersonal skills, time management, and problem solving skills,

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• BLS required through American Heart Association
• Telemetry certification is required within 3 months of employment,

Preferred:

• Prior experience in patient care preferred
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with others effectively
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Nurse's Aide Certification and medical terminology is preferred

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• AHA BLS

Schedule

• 36 hours a week - Evening Shift
