The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Create a concierge atmosphere through a personalized approach to patients and visitors. The intent is to ensure patients feel cared for and supported from the moment they walk through the door. The concierge is the initial greeter and ensures patient experience in the department meets the highest. Level of patient satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • HS Diploma or GED required

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's preferred
  • 2+ years experience in healthcare setting or customer service setting preferred

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Shift Day
  • As needed, schedule varies, some holidays

Essential Functions:

  • Creating a caring and personalized atmosphere
  • Welcome patients/visitors with a smile
  • Proficient in the use of the hospital computer
  • Keep waiting areas clean and organized. Maintains a neat and
  • Organized environment at workstation and in lobby
  • Notifies Environmental Services of spills and litter
  • Ensure compliance with hospital regulatory requirements (infection control, safety programs...)
  • Use courteous and caring telephone techniques- follows departmental scripts as needed
  • Oversees volunteers, updating volunteers with policies and procedures
  • Performs other duties as requested
