As a Security Officer Entry Control Officer in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. In this role, you will remain visible, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government educational location.
• Control access at assigned entrances by screening visitors, checking identification and/or credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity according to site protocols.
• Monitor doors, gates, and other access points for unauthorized entry and help to deter security-related concerns through attentive observation and professional presence.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site leadership and/or public officials as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned buildings, entry points, and perimeter areas, noting unusual activity and/or conditions that may require follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
