Company Overview

At Motorola Solutions, we believe that everything starts with our people. We're a global close-knit community, united by the relentless pursuit to help keep people safer everywhere. We build and connect technologies to help protect people, property and places. Our solutions foster the collaboration that's critical for safer communities, safer schools, safer hospitals, safer businesses, and ultimately, safer nations. Connect with a career that matters, and help us build a safer future.

Department OverviewAt Motorola Solutions, we create the technology that keeps communities safe. From 9-1-1 call handling to AI-powered video security and land mobile radio, our solutions are mission-critical. We are looking for a data-driven strategist to serve as the bridge between product behavior and business value. The goal is to build the data foundation that proves-and improves-the value of our mission-critical technology. You will lead the "Crawl, Walk, Run" evolution of our product analytics, moving us from basic login tracking to sophisticated, automated "nurture and rescue" strategies. You are the bridge between raw clicks and the "Aha! Moment" for our customers. Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the Instrumentation Strategy: Own the "Radar". Partner with Product Managers, Product Owners and Engineering to identify core features and workflows and define what "Active Usage" looks like.

  • Identify Adoption Gaps: Use behavioral segmentation to identify "power users" versus "at-risk" groups. You won't just report a drop in usage; you'll pinpoint exactly where in the onboarding journey users are falling off.

  • Narrative Leadership: Lead the strategy to synthesize complex product data into high-level insights for the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), ensuring that data is not just "presented," but used to drive resource allocation and strategic pivots.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and guide the right conversations to ensure product and technical teams are executing on the broader telemetry and adoption strategy. You are responsible for ensuring that "success signals" aren't just defined on paper but are accurately captured in the telemetry.

Preferred Skills:

  • SaaS Infrastructure Mastery: 5+ years of experience with Pendo, HubSpot, Gainsight, and Salesforce. You don't just use these tools; you know how to map their schemas to talk to each other.

  • Data-to-English Translation: The ability to take a "plain-English" business question (e.g., "Which accounts are at risk?") and build the technical telemetry to answer it.

  • The "Measure Twice, Cut Once" Mentality: You're obsessed with data integrity and cleaning up the "noise" so leadership can make decisions with total confidence.

  • Strategic Influence: Experience leading cross-functional teams (Product, UX, Engineering) without having direct authority over them.

  • Technical Literacy is a plus: Familiarity with HTML/CSS for in-app messaging and an understanding of object relationships in SaaS data stacks will be fantastic.

Target Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
