Under the direction of the QA Supervisor, this person will set-up and perform a variety of complex mechanical, electrical, and functional tests Must have the ability to perform duties with limited supervision.
Lead activities within AS9100, ISO and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
On-the-floor point of contact for day-to-day issues supporting direction given by supervisor/manager ensuring goals and objectives are met.

Job Requirements:

* Conduct mechanical and electrical testing and inspection/verification to defined specifications



for new and existing products, raw materials, warranty returns, and calibration.



* Compile and provide test reports with recommendations for improvement.



* Participate in and oversee test fixture construction for material, product, or process analysis.



* Lead activities within AS9100, ISO, and Lean methodologies for problem prevention,



identification, corrective action, and solution verification.



* Create and maintain routine data collection, entry, or reporting to assure product conformance,



process capability, or equipment calibration.



* Set up and operate a variety of mechanical or electronic measuring equipment; create



standardized documentation for special test setups.



* Train lower-level associates in inspection techniques, metrology methods, GD&T, blueprint



reading, routings, and SPC.



* Provide ongoing training to employees in designated work cells and assign proper training to



new team members.



* Make daily decisions on product conformance and process capabilities, including final authority



before usage or shipment.



* Support strategic direction and specific projects as directed by Supervisor.
* Adjust workloads to meet deadlines under direction of Supervisor.
* Assume other projects and responsibilities as directed.



* Act as backup for the Supervisor/Manager when unavailable.



* Troubleshoot and solve issues with assistance as needed.



* Recommend and initiate process improvements with supervisor/manager approval.



* Interact with internal and external customers and co-workers.



* Maintain a safe working environment and promptly address hazardous situations.



* Maintain positive working relationships within assigned teams and across departments.



* Regular and predictable attendance is presumed to be an essential function
