Operates water treatment systems in the most economical and efficient manner in accordance with Cinch Connectivity Solutions, and Minnesota Pollution Control Agency standards. Knowledgeable in chemical treatment of heavy metals from effluent and familiar working with hazardous materials. Performs laboratory testing to obtain accurate and consistent results in treatment and cross checks operational compliance with permits. Perform operator level maintenance on treatment systems. Responsible for maintenance of plating WWTS (alleviate maintenance department from pump issues), manage chemical stocks * Operation of waste-water evaporator * Wastewater collection management from machine shop and tumbling department to evaporator storage * Responsible for RO system in plating room * Management of ion exchange tanks for RMS cleaning line * Assist in managing hazardous waste to storage room * Chemical and secondary containment management so we have proper storage of chemicals (audit issue for insurance and MPCA) * Inspection, maintenance, and repair coordination of 4 air emission wet scrubbers. * Ability to implement new technologies or methods as needed. * Ability to hold sensitive data and information in confidence. * Ability to understand and implement AS9100, ISO and Lean Manufacturing methodologies. * Ability to operate equipment and use tools and techniques effectively, efficiently and in accordance with ergonomic principles. * Proficiency in software as required; ability to perform math calculations, measurement, analysis or reporting as directed. * Ability to comply with Company policies and procedures. * Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately orally, in writing or electronically. * Ability to communicate work goals, progress and changes as required.
