Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Quality Control Team Lead to support day-to-day inspection and testing activities and help ensure materials, parts, and finished products consistently meet established quality standards. This is a hands-on lead role that helps coordinate quality activity, supports testing processes, and serves as a resource to the team while working closely with leadership.

Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Quality Control Team Lead to oversee daily inspection and testing activities for materials, parts, and finished products to ensure compliance with established quality, strength, and durability standards. This role is responsible for helping maintain consistency in quality processes, supporting the use of mechanical and electrical testing equipment, and assisting with day-to-day quality workflow. This is a working lead position with hands-on involvement in inspection, testing, problem-solving, and team support.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily inspection and testing of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with established quality standards
  • Operate and support the use of mechanical and electrical test equipment to verify conformance to specifications and standard requirements
  • Review product quality results and identify issues related to strength, quality, endurance, and overall performance
  • Help investigate quality concerns and support corrective action efforts to address product and production issues
  • Maintain accurate inspection records, testing documentation, and quality data
  • Work closely with production and leadership teams to improve consistency, reduce defects, and support continuous improvement efforts
  • Help communicate and reinforce quality procedures, expectations, and standard work throughout the department
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to team members involved in inspection and testing activities
  • Serve as a hands-on resource within the department while helping coordinate daily priorities and workflow
  • Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

You Must Have:

  • Experience in quality control, inspection, testing, or a related manufacturing environment
  • Experience using measurement, inspection, and testing equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications, procedures, and quality standards
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing production needs
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer skills

Requirements Within This Position:

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand

  • Regularly required to remain in a stationary position

  • Frequently required to move throughout the facility

  • Regularly required to operate material handling equipment and handle products

  • Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 25+ pounds

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Previous lead or team leadership experience in a manufacturing or quality environment
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in quality, engineering, manufacturing, or a related field
  • Experience with mechanical and electrical product testing
  • Knowledge of quality systems, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methods
  • Familiarity with a variety of quality concepts, practices, and procedures within a manufacturing setting
