Summary: The Logistics Coordinator/Order Fulfillment Specialist will manage the entire logistics process from order placement to delivery. This role is essential in ensuring that all orders are processed efficiently and accurately, maintaining communication with suppliers, shippers, and customers to ensure timely delivery and exceptional service. Qualification Requirements: Must be able to obtain and/or maintain a US security clearance. This position is located onsite at our Glen Burnie office. Experience: Experience: 2+ years in logistics, order fulfillment, or supply chain management. Education and Skills: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field Proficient in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Order Processing: Receive and review customer orders for accuracy. Enter orders into the system and generate shipping documentation. Monitor order status and communicate updates to customers. Logistics Management: Coordinate shipment schedules with vendors and freight carriers. Optimize routing to minimize shipping costs and time. Track shipments and address any issues that may arise during transportation. Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory levels and reorder supplies as necessary. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure system accuracy. Customer Communication: Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries regarding order status and logistics. Resolve any issues related to shipping discrepancies or delays. Performance Analysis: Analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Prepare reports on inventory levels, order fulfillment, and shipping accuracy. Other requirements: Back up Purchasing, Shipping, & Receiving functions. Ability to lift to 50 lbs. Other duties as assigned.
