Summary:
The Program Manager will lead and coordinate the design, development, and operational oversight of new and existing inpatient specialty programs within the Virtual Care Services Specialty Care team. This position will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation and continuous growth and improvement of programs, with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards and service delivery. The Program Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, plan, and execute the development of new specialty programs while managing day-to-day program operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. This role will build a culture of exceptional customer service and serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, fostering positive relationships and ensuring effective communication.

The Program Manager will also develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and maintain high standards of care. In partnership with other leaders, the Program Manager will help create a collaborative and positive work environment across a multidisciplinary team of providers, support staff, and administrators. Additionally, the role will monitor the financial development and performance of the programs and develop and utilize data analytics and quality assurance protocols to assess program performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:
1. Analysis: Analyzes and resolves complex issues to maximize efficiency. Ensures all proper internal controls are in place to safeguard assets of the system and satisfies internal and external regulatory requirements. Develops and monitors operating and capital budget.
2. Communication and Relationships: Works with peers to identify and analyze opportunities for improvement. Implements processes to identify, implement and ensure standardization decisions occur with minimal disruption to patient care or administrative activities and creating solutions.
3. Financial and Business Planning:Provides analytical and strategy support for the assigned program. Performs analytics, provides business insight into implications of findings, develops business plans, and recommends opportunities for improvement.
4. Program Administration: Plan, coordinate and administer activities of assigned program to include developing, implementing, and administering related procedures, processes, services and systems.
5. Strategic Planning: Interface with all UNC Health Care entities and effectively communicate strategies, successfully elicit support and provide assistance implementing those strategies.
