Work Arrangement - Hybrid - MWF remote 4825 Creekstone Drive Durham, NC 27703 PURPOSE: To provide support across Duke Health as a member of the Strategic Planning team in the compilation and analysis of strategic intelligence, health system activity, and healthcare forecasts for use in the development of strategic plans, external landscape assessments, programmatic opportunity assessments, and ad hoc requests. Job Responsibilities: This position carries responsibilities for providing support to ensure that Duke Health Strategic Planning makes appropriate recommendations for strategic and business decisions. Responsibilities include analyzing and synthesizing data from a variety of sources and communicating information through coherent written and visual presentations. Analysts develop excellent quantitative and qualitative skills while building a rich base of knowledge within the healthcare industry. Analysts will be required to understand the origin, usage, and parameters of data sets in order to appropriately develop actionable insights. Analysts gain exposure to the decision-making process and have the opportunity to contribute to the work of the department to inform the strategic direction of one of the nation's top healthcare systems. As such, this position carries high expectations for articulating the "story" behind the data. Strategic Intelligence Management

Additional Duties
Minimum Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in a business, healthcare, or quantitative field required. Masters degree preferred. Experience Work requires three years of related experience. A Master's degree can substitute for two years of experience. Previous work experience in consulting, financial analysis, strategic planning, healthcare administration, or public policy is desired. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required. Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, including experience drafting written materials and visuals for planning team members and leadership. Microsoft Access, Tableau, and ArcGIS experience preferred.
