Position may be located in Edina MN.

Responsible for performing task including maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, security and ground elements of Fidium central office and office space.

Responsibilities

  • Routinely visit all buildings to service and inspect building and equipment.
  • Repair and remodel of plumbing and pipefitting systems, equipment and facilities.
  • Service and repair all pumps and air conditioning systems, including changing filter on a regular basis.
  • Inspect and repair roof leaks where possible.
  • Performs snow removal and salt of walkways and access ways.
  • Painting of exterior and interior when needed.
  • Repair and replace door locking and mounting hardware.
  • Ability to operate and maintain hand and power tools and any equipment related to activities.
  • Maintain a safe work environment when alone or with others.
  • Maintain all exterior and interior buildings.
  • Perform and maintain all other exterior and interior needs as applicable.
  • Reports to work on time and maintains a satisfactory attendance record.
Qualifications

  • General education or equivalent: high school diploma or GED plus related experience or training.
  • Experience: 1 year experience in maintenance or associated field.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical tools.
  • Must be able to lift 80lbs and work on a ladder.
  • Must be able to work well with others.
  • Good communications skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • License required: Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a MN Special Class engineer license and EPA 608 Universal certification within one year.
